People I met today were super nice.
I went for car service at Segambut..near Dutamas. The workshop run by a Chinese gentleman, Mr. Lim. I complained about I had an accident...steering gegar2, rasa 'berat' and I think my car needs a new break pad.
He checked and said actually no need to change the break pad..it still can be use for up to 3 months. What I need to change is the auto-gear oil..the level so low...that's why I feel 'berat'..gear lambat tukar maa..
And gegar2.. I need to meet a tyre specialist. Mr Lim gave me direction to go to his friend's shop..at Segambut. But Im so not good with direction..if you give me GPS with voice tu pun I can get sesat. He was kind enough to go with me. So we went to a workshop..owned by a good Chinese uncle..Ah Hee namanye..located near bulatan jln Duta. Uncle's verdict was that Im using a cheap tayar (Sime Tyres)..tayar keras that's why la gegar2..he suggest I change the tyres early next year..since bunga tayar ok lg. And he did some alignment & on-wheel balancing. That should be enough till then.
Then I whine about the wipers..how I get blurry vision bila hujan..Im asking about the one that put on display at the workshop. Mr Lim said Im already using an expensive wiper (Honda Civic punye taw), no need to change..he just put some fluid inside the wiper-water-tank (tatau nama dia ape).
Cost: RM84 for the auto-gear oil, RM25 for alignment & on-wheel balancing and free for the wiper-fluid.
Those a two honest mechanics as mechanics (be it Chinese or Malay) usually take advantge on woman..specially yang nampak sgt dumb-blonde mcm aku ni.
Those two gentleman even wish me Hari Raya, lengkap dgn pesanan to drive safely.
Then these anak beranak at the laundry shop. I went to their shop, located at Wangsa Maju Seksyen 5 to send last minute dirty laudry so I don't need to care about sebakul kain baju busuk when I come back from cuti Raya. The mak wish me Hari Raya & pat me on my arm the way a mother would touch her daughter & her son kind enough to carry the load from my car. And it cost me only RM2 per kg..Bape kg xle cite ar..hehe.
When I back to the office, I remember that I didn't topup my 'touch n go' yet, uuuuu Karak & LPT sgt jamm..jgn cari pasal. There're 2 ATMs at our office, one is Mebeng & the other one is Cimbeng. I only have Mebeng card but the only ATM that can operate 'touch n go' transaction was the Cimbeng one. A gentleman at my office who is queing behind me, offer his Cimbeng card & do the transaction for me. That save a lot of energy to go to LRT Ampang Park & topup there. Phewww.
