Sometimes in 2006, when North Shore still a hit series in StarWorld, me with a bunch of gfs went to Tioman Island..berangan lah itu Oahu, Hawaii kan.
We went there naik bas ekspress from KL - Mersing, via Bukit Putus. If that time kes bas terbalik lah brek tak makan lah berleluasa..sumpahhhh aku x naik bas tau. From jeti Mersing..naik bot lah. And we stayed at Paya..a boat-ride away from Tioman, but it's a very nice place. Mandi2 kat laut..then jungle trekking to waterfall. Kat lubuk waterfall tu siap ade ikan keli!

We planned to have a very light and easy holiday...just mandi & bergolek-golek kat tepi pantai, to get sun-kissed-tan all over our body (tak sedar diri padahal dh mmg kulit cekelat). But turn out, Tioman has a lot to offer, too irresistable to ignore. We get frenly with the beach boys and locals; play beach volley ball in the evening and mencandat sotong at night..and karaoke. Tapi kat pulau pun ade jgk yg mengayat set2 mat rempit kan "Ellow..ellow..kak long..kak long.."
When you go to Tioman, people usually will go snorkel at Taman Laut. Taman Laut sgt cantik, sgt byk colorful fishes, small and big yang xde segan silu bersentuhan sisik dgn kita. Pegang pun dorang tak lari. Just, try to ask your boatman to bring you somewhere else where you can see corals and a biodiversity of hidupan laut. For us, the boatman bring us near to a small island (don't remember the name), where there's a shallow area formed by a big rock..in the middle of oceon. Don't forget to bring bread, the fishes there very kebulur and they will surround you eagerly..like a school of them fishes..ripping that roti out of your hand. A big colorful parrot fish even mencederakan jari aku ..darah2 sikit..trying to grab roti out of my hand.
There's a small island in front of Paya Resort. We went snorkeling around the island for few hours..locals la yg bwk pi ni..aci berenang je pi dari pantai. That was my first time, seing those beautiful corals and life around it..live, not from tv. Rasa mcm ternangis sket masa tu, kena stop sat bukak goggle..lap air mata. The image has been embedded permenantly in my head..the beautiful, amazing colors and movement of the corals, meliuk lentuk..Up untill now, when I went snorkell somewhere else, I still think that what I saw in Tioman is the best. Maybe because feeling I have at the moment, like the warm feeling you have in your heart when you fall in love at the first sight.

Masa ni Nemo adelah ikan yg agak glemer...No fishes were harm during the scene.
